The CH Stuart Society commemorates the Modern History tutor, Charles Stuart, in perpetuity, in order to ensure that the quantity and quality of Modern History tutorials (exemplified by CH Stuart) continues. Modern Historians who benefited from and enjoyed his dedication and wisdom have contributed over £1 million to endow a tutorial post in his name. Today, members of the Society, old and new, have begun to donate towards endowing a second History tutorial post.
