This is a private memorial event at Christ Church for Professor Richard P Wayne. Richard was an Emeritus Professor of Chemistry and an excellent tutor and lecturer who was regarded with great respect and affection by his pupils and colleagues.

Programme

2.00 to 2.30pm — Christ Church Cathedral

A short recital of organ works by Bach in remembrance of Richard’s enthusiasm for the Rieger organ, newly installed in the 1970s, and his repair work on its electronic controls (often late on a Saturday night, in advance of Sunday’s services!)

2.45 to 4.30pm — Sir Michael Dummett Lecture Theatre

Short talks and anecdotes about Richard, presentation of photos, and refreshments.
