The Christ Church Association

The Christ Church Association is made up of all Members of the House who have completed one academic year at Christ Church. Formed in 1989, and overseen by a Committee, it offers opportunities for alumni to maintain lifelong connections with one another, and with Christ Church.

The Association forms an ongoing link between college and alumni. Whilst you are up, we can give you advice on careers, work experience, travel and finance, and put you in contact with Old Members who may be able to help you. Once you have gone down, we can help you keep in touch with your contemporaries via our regular alumni events. We also keep in touch with you via 'Association News', in Christ Church Matters magazine, which is published twice a year. We can continue to give you access to careers and other advice by contacting other alumni in your chosen industry who are willing to help.

The CCA Committee has representation from alumni, Governing Body, staff and students. Alumni members fill the roles of Chair and Secretary, and six alumni members are elected (three positions) or co-opted (three positions).

The AGM normally takes place in September and coincides with the Association's ‘Open House’ event to which all Members together with their friends and family are invited.

Minutes from the last AGM (23 September 2023) are available here, along with approved minutes from the Committee meeting on 25 November 2023.

The 2024 AGM will took place on 21 September at Christ Church and was an in-person meeting.
