It is our pleasure to invite you to the annual Christ Church Association Open House on Saturday, 19 September 2026. The day will have an array of activities including arts and crafts, tours, a lecture, games in the Masters Garden, as well as lunch and/or dinner in Hall. It is the one event of the year which is open to all alumni, friends, and their guests, which we hope will encourage many of you to return.
500th Anniversary of the Cathedral Choir: Come and Sing!
In the afternoon, we are pleased to invite musical alumni and Old Boys of Christ Church Cathedral School – particularly former members of the College Choir, former Cathedral and Frideswide Voices Choristers – to join the Cathedral Choir and Frideswide Voices for a special celebratory Evensong marking 500 years of music at Christ Church. Following an afternoon rehearsal, participants will sing a service showcasing music by Christ Church composers. Participants will rehearse at 3.30pm without the Choir, and will be joined by the the Choir for the final rehearsal at 4.45pm, ahead of Evensong at 6pm.
We hope that all attending the Open House will come to enjoy the evensong performed by those taking part in Come and Sing. If you wish to perform, please ensure you select the ticket type "General Entry + Come and Sing".
