We hope that you will join us for family-friendly tours, an engaging academic talk, and an afternoon BBQ by the river, before cheering on our rowers on the final day of Summer VIIIs. You are warmly encouraged to bring your family, your partner, or a friend. The programme for the day is as follows:
10.00am – Registration and coffee in the Sir Michael Dummett Exhibition Space (MDES)
10.00am – 11.00am – Harry Potter and Alice in Wonderland Tour (Children must be supervised)
College Gardens Tour (includes Cathedral Garden, Masters Garden, and Pococke Garden)
11.15am – 12.00pm – Lecture by Dr Farniyaz Zaker (Persian Studies) in the Sir Michael Dummett Lecture Theatre
12.05pm – 1.00pm – Drinks reception at the Reasearch Centre (opposite Meadow Gate)
1.00pm - 5.00pm – BBQ and drinks by the river at the Christ Church Boat House
A morning of tours and a lecture followed by a BBQ at the Boat House for Summer VIII's. This is an invitation only event in recognition of the generosity of our regular donors.
