Benoit Dubief (2022, MBA) has been named a Poets&Quants' Best & Brightest MBA for 2023. This prestigious award within the global business graduate academic community recognises the future international leaders of tomorrow as part of Poets&Quants 10th global annual ranking, based on academic and personal excellence, extracurricular leadership and professional achievements. The list highlighting what makes awardees distinctive leaders within their community as high potentials with rare intangibles and compelling personal stories has been browsed by more than 80,000 readers across the world. Benoit has been featured in the introductory article as well as a dedicated awardee page with portrait, award and interview.
Among other leading business media outlets, Yahoo Finance also covered the awards featuring Oxford/Saïd Business School, while diving into the very competitive process of being part of the list through appointments from business schools’ academics and a panel of business journalists, alongside the rest of distinguished MBA students and graduates from top business schools around the world (MIT Sloan, Wharton/University of Pennsylvania, Yale School of Management, INSEAD, etc.).
In the dedicated awardee page featuring his interview, Benoit talks extensively about Christ Church and what the House brought him on his Oxford journey: "After my MBA application was successful, it turned out I was also honoured to be admitted to Christ Church, the very college whose illustrious history, from educating British prime ministers to hosting Albert Einstein, was topped by some of the most famous movie scenes in history. I have felt truly inspired by the privilege of enjoying formal dinners every evening in our mesmerising hall, while walking through the cloisters and stairs so many distinguished alumni experienced before me." During his time at Oxford, this inspiration also contributed to make him found RightPick, a platform which allows talent from leading European universities to browse centralised job offers in consulting, finance and technology around the world in real time. Roles on the platform match their background, industry of interest and seniority effortlessly.
Benoit has now returned to McKinsey & Company in London as a senior consultant following the end of his MBA. Leveraging the breadth of horizons that his pre-MBA career offered him at the European headquarters of Facebook as well as McKinsey & Company, he will keep pushing the boundaries of his next chapter thanks to the entrepreneurship experience he went through during his transformative journey at Oxford and cherished time at the House. Last but not least in his own words: "I intend to stay close to the House over our numerous alumni events across the world, but also to celebrate and support our broader Oxford community through Christ Church!
