Château Septy is one of the oldest names in the Monbazillac appellation (300 years old). It is a vineyard of 22 hectares, planted on clay-limestone slopes with 50% North exposure and 50% South favorable to the development of Botrytis cinerea (noble rot) and grape drying (natural concentration of grapes under the influence of sun and wind) which gives the wine a character of ripe and dried fruits.
