Amanda joined us in February, previously working on contract at Oriel College for the Treasurer and Communications department. She relocated from the US to the UK in autumn of last year, and has worked in various sectors since obtaining her BA in Communication Studies in 2020. Prior to relocating to Oxford, she spent two years working at a non-profit organisation in Houston, Texas, which focused on building the capacity of community assistance ministries addressing poverty and homelessness in the area. In this role, she planned many types of events including training sessions for non-profit professionals, executive leadership retreats, and fundraising luncheons. Amanda is thrilled to join Christ Church and endeavours to deliver the highest quality alumni events wherein Old Members can relive cherished memories and create new ones.
