Brett writes:

'I’m delighted to join Christ Church as the new Development and Alumni Events Officer. I’m originally from Pismo Beach, California – a small coastal town between San Francisco and Los Angeles. I completed my undergraduate studies in Business Administration and Theology & Religious Studies at Saint Mary’s College of California, and more recently completed graduate school at Duke University in North Carolina. My fiancé, Andrew, and I moved to Oxford in September as I began my role here and he started his DPhil in Theology at Mansfield College.

I’m very excited to be part of Christ Church and look forward to contributing to the mission of the House!'

Oskar writes:

'Since joining Christ Church as the new Graduate Development Associate, I have already had the chance to enjoy a CCA Open House and a magnificent Gaudy. It is fair to say that the charm of the House has proved infectious, even if I still attract scorn for my shameless loyalty to a certain institution in the Fens that must not be named.

I graduated last summer having read languages and linguistics, and have spent much of the last year teaching myself Sanskrit and working in museums in Oxford. When I’m not working at a glorious formal dinner in Hall or in our no less salubrious office in Peck, I can be found prattling endlessly about comparative linguistics, classical Indian religion, or Canada.'
