In short provocations, volume editor Dr Franziska Kohlt, and contributors including Prof Adam Roberts, Dr Karen Gardiner, Dr Nick Coates, and Catherine Richards, will discuss the influences of Victorian scientific and religious cultures on Looking-Glass, and its afterlives in Victorian and Georgian theatre, and contemporary business thinking and the creative process of pastiching Carroll's Jabberwocky.

A subsequent discussion will think, more broadly about the value and potential of interdisciplinary, collaborative scholarship in the present day, as well as the unique longevity and cultural capital of Carroll’s Alice.
