NEW ROLES AT CHRIST CHURCH

Following the retirement of Treasurer James Lawrie, in December 2024, Christ Church seeks to appoint a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and a Chief Investments Officer (CIO).

The CFO will take the lead in the continued development of financial strategy and the management and care of assets, for a unique institution that is both a college of the University of Oxford and the Cathedral. The CIO will be responsible for the overall management and development of the Christ Church endowment portfolio.

We wanted to bring these exciting opportunities to the attention of our network of alumni and friends, and we welcome enquiries from anyone who you think may be interested in these roles. We would also be grateful if you could spread the word among your own network of colleagues and friends.

The coming years mark a key moment in Christ Church’s history and we look forward to working with someone who has the breadth of experience and depth of knowledge to see the House well into its next half millennium.

Applications for the CFO close at midday on 11 April, and for the CIO at midday on 2 May.

Details of both roles are available here.
