In March 2026, Ollie Branston (2019, Biology) and Nicholas Marks (2019, Modern Languages), together with 16 others, will drive 1,318 miles across Europe in three days to deliver evacuation vehicles to Ukraine. There, they will be donated to assist with CasEvacs (casualty evacuations) of Ukrainian troops. They will be supporting the Driving Ukraine team to make this delivery happen, and are looking for help to fund, drive and deliver the vehicles.
Driving Ukraine has organised 40+ convoys already. They’ve highlighted the continued need for support: this winter has been particularly brutal due to sustained damage to essential infrastructure, particularly cold weather, and geopolitical uncertainty.
The challenge is to raise funds to cover the cost of the vehicle, the driving, and the modifications (in Lviv) to make the vehicle suitable for evacuations. If you would like to support this initiative, please head to their fundraising page for more information.
